14 July 2024 we will be doing a puja to show our gratitude to Guru for his teaching and blessings.

Event will start at 3pm for all and ends at 8pm. Blessing will start around 4pm. (you may leave after the blessing)
Pets are welcome for this event.
At 3pm I will start the prayers and offerings.
At 4-8pm you can come and join us. We will be around to guide you on what to do. Blessing will be available during that time.

We will doing a Thousand-item Tsok offering to Guru Rinpoche during the Puja.
There will be 100 sets of items available for sponsorship. Each set will be $118.
One set of offering comprises of 10 items as follows:

7. Tea leaves
8. Pills
9. Fruit
10. Incense powder
    (All items subjected to changes)

You will have the option of bring home the set you have offered after the Puja or to leave donate it to the center to further generate further virtuous activities. (Please see a short explanation of Tibetan Buddhism Tsok offering below)

Explanation
Tsok offering is direct short-cut to generate tremendous benefits especially when it is performed on an auspicious day. Below are some of the Key benefits:

1. Accumulation of Merit: Tsok practice is considered a powerful means of accumulating merit, which is the positive energy generated through virtuous actions. By offering and sharing with a pure motivation and intention, practitioners accumulate merit, which can contribute to their spiritual progress and well-being.
2. Purification of Negative Karma: Tsok practice is believed to have purifying effects on negative karma, the accumulated effects of past negative actions. Through the act of offering and the recitation of prayers and mantras during tsok ceremonies, practitioners seek purification and the mitigation of the negative consequences of their actions.
3. Cultivation of Generosity: Tsok practice is an opportunity for practitioners to cultivate the virtue of generosity. By offering and sharing the provisions and items during tsok ceremonies, individuals cultivate a selfless attitude, overcome attachment to possessions, and develop a generous and open-hearted mindset.

Nourishment of Inner Qualities: Tsok practice is not merely about the physical act of offering and sharing food but also involves the internal cultivation of qualities such as mindfulness, concentration, and pure awareness. The rituals, prayers, and visualizations involved in tsok ceremonies provide an opportunity for practitioners to deepen their spiritual practice and nourish their inner qualities.
7. Swift Attainment of Enlightenment: It is believed that through the sincere and dedicated practice of tsok, practitioners create favorable conditions for swift spiritual progress and the attainment of enlightenment. The blessings received through tsok offerings are seen as catalysts for transformation, supporting practitioners on their path to awakening

如是我聞：一時薄伽梵在王舍城鷲峰山頂，與大苾芻眾千二百五十人俱，復有無量無邊大菩薩眾、天龍八部，悉皆雲集。

爾時清淨慧菩薩在眾中坐，為欲愍念諸有情故，作是思惟：「諸佛如來以何因緣，得清淨身，相好具足？」復作是念：「諸眾生類，得值如來，親近供養，所獲福報，無量無邊。未知如來般涅槃後，所有眾生作何供養、修何功德，令彼善根速能究竟無上菩提？」作是念已，即從座起，偏袒右肩，頂禮佛足，長跪合掌白佛言：「世尊！我欲請問，願垂聽許。」

佛言：「善男子！隨汝所問，我當為說。」

爾時清淨慧菩薩白佛言：「諸佛．如來．應．正等覺以何因緣，得清淨身，相好具足？又諸眾生得值如來，親近供養，所獲福報，無量無邊。未審如來般涅槃後，所有眾生作何供養、修何功德，令彼善根速能究竟無上菩提？」

爾時世尊告清淨慧菩薩言：「善哉，善哉！汝能為彼未來眾生，發如是問。汝今諦聽，善思念之，如說修行！吾當為汝分別解說。」

清淨慧菩薩言：「唯然，世尊！願樂欲聞。」

佛告清淨慧菩薩言：「善男子！應知布施、持戒、忍辱、精進、靜慮、智慧、慈悲喜捨、解脫、解脫知見、力、無所畏、一切佛法、一切種智善清淨故，如來清淨。若於如是，諸佛如來，以清淨心種種供養：香花瓔珞、幡蓋敷具，布在佛前，種種嚴飾，上妙香水澡浴尊儀，燒香普熏運心法界。復以飲食、鼓樂、弦歌、讚詠如來不共功德，發殊勝願，迴向無上一切智海，所生功德，無量無邊，乃至菩提，常令相續。所以者何？如來福、智不可思議，無數無等。善男子！諸佛世尊具有三身，謂法身、受用身、化身。我涅槃後，若欲供養此三身者，當供養舍利。然有二種：一者、身骨舍利；二者、法頌舍利。」

即說頌曰：「諸法從緣起，如來說是因；彼法因緣盡，是大沙門說。」

「若男子、女人、苾芻五眾應造佛像。若無力者，下至大如䵃麥，造窣覩波形如棗許，剎竿如針，蓋如麩片，舍利如芥子，或寫法頌，安置其中。如上珍奇，而為供養，隨己力能，至誠殷重，如我現身，等無有異。善男子！若有眾生能作如是勝供養者，成就十五殊勝功德，而自莊嚴：一者、常有慚愧；二者、發淨信心；三者、其心質直；四者、親近善友；五者、入無漏慧；六者、常見諸佛；七者、恆持正法；八者、能如說行；九者、隨意當生淨佛國土；十者、若生人中，大姓尊貴，人所敬奉，生歡喜心；十一、者生在人中，自然念佛；十二者、諸魔軍眾不能損惱；十三者、能於末世護持正法；十四者、十方諸佛之所加護；十五者、速得成就五分法身。

爾時世尊即說頌曰：

我般涅槃後，能供養舍利，或造窣覩波，及以如來像，
於彼像塔處，塗拭曼荼羅，以種種香華，散布於其上，
以淨妙香水，灌沐於像身，上味諸飲食，盡持以供養。
讚歎如來德，無量難思議，方便智神通，速至於彼岸。
獲得金剛身，具三十二相，八十隨形好，濟度諸群生。

爾時清淨慧菩薩聞是頌已，白佛言：「未來眾生云何浴像？」

佛告清淨慧菩薩言：「汝等當於如來起正念心，勿著二邊，迷於空有；於諸善品，渴仰無厭；三解脫門，善修智慧；常求出離，勿住生死；於諸眾生，起大慈悲，願得速成三種身故。善男子！我已為汝說四真諦、十二緣生、六波羅蜜，今更為汝及諸國王、王子、大臣、後宮、妃后、天龍、人鬼說浴像法，諸供養中最為第一，勝以恆河沙等七寶布施。若浴像時，應以牛頭栴檀、白檀、紫檀、沉水、熏陸、鬱金香、龍腦香、零陵、藿香等，於淨石上磨作香泥，用為香水，置淨器中。於清淨處，以好土作壇，或方或圓，隨時大小，上置浴床，中安佛像，灌以香湯，淨潔洗沐，重澆清水。所用之水，皆須淨濾，勿使損虫。其浴像水，兩指瀝取，安自頂上，名吉祥水，瀉於淨地，莫令足踏。以細軟巾，拭像令淨，燒諸名香，周遍香馥，安置本處。善男子！由作如是浴佛像故，能令汝等人、天大眾現受富樂，無病延年；於所願求，無不遂意；親友眷屬，悉皆安隱；長辭八難，永出苦源；不受女身，速成正覺。既安置已，更燒諸香，親對像前，虔誠合掌，而說讚曰：

我今灌沐諸如來，淨智功德莊嚴聚，願彼五濁眾生類，速證如來淨法身。
戒定慧解知見香，遍十方剎常芬馥，願此香煙亦如是，無量無邊作佛事。
亦願三塗苦輪息，悉令除熱得清涼，皆發無上菩提心，亦出愛河登彼岸。

佛說此經已，是時眾中有無量無邊菩薩，得無垢三昧；無量諸天得不退智；諸聲聞眾願求佛果；八萬四千眾生皆發阿耨多羅三藐三菩提心。

爾時清淨慧菩薩白佛言：「世尊！幸蒙大師哀愍我等，教浴像法。我今勸化國王、大臣、一切信心樂功德者，於日日中澡沐尊儀，獲大利益，常當頂受，歡喜奉行！」

普巴金剛杵

「普」字表空性之義，「巴」字表智慧，普巴即空性與智慧結合成不二體性。普巴法的修持，在於斷除一切自我之貪執，消除內心之恐懼，如此，才能瞭解法界性，亦即不在於降伏外在之物，而是在於對自己內心本性的了悟。

普巴金剛除障法之利益略述 :

1. 遮止邪師惡咒與詛咒
2. 遮止羅喉星宿之障礙 (能致中風等症)
3. 遮止大小魔障
4. 遮止地震 , 水風火災
5. 遮止夭亡之障礙　
6. 遮止魂魄散失之障礙　
7. 遮止無端官符之災　
8. 遮止口舌是非之障礙　
9. 遮止外國入侵之禍亂　
10. 遮止惡世亂相之顯現
11. 遮止疾病瘟疫之漫延
12. 遮止戰爭禍亂 之發生
13. 遮止農作物之種種災害
14. 遮止小偷強盜劫奪財富之災　
15. 遮止家中鬼神作障之災　
16. 遮止嬰靈小鬼等之障礙　
17. 遮止祖先墳地風水所致的災禍　
18. 遮止生辰流年之災禍　
19. 遮止身心之痛苦與煩惱　
20. 遮止事業上變動不定的障礙

马头明王杵

马头明王是观世音菩萨所现的愤怒相。 马头明王为八大明王之一，是密教胎藏界三部明王中，莲华部的忿怒持明王。在六道中畜生道的救护王。 因为慈悲心重，所以摧灭一切魔障，以大威日轮照破众生的暗冥，啖食众生的无明烦恼。

马头明王杵:

1、消除本人修持愤怒尊修法而令鬼神、护法不喜的状态，进而受到鬼神、护法护卫。
2、修持任何护法法门，更容易受到护法的全力护持及承办事业。
3、若本人增益慈悲心、菩提心或者行善业时，非人、鬼怪、邪魔障碍，若佩戴此马头明王金刚杵将得以避免。
4、行走外地、野外、污浊场所，能避免不吉祥事发生。
5、修持任何教法，更易受到空行主尊的随身护卫、赞叹、欢喜、加持。
6、承办任何事业，更易受到护法的欢喜及护持。
7、若修赞护法不力，委托事业不易得到护持，应佩戴。
8、三昧耶不清净，佩戴具有护身和令身心洁净之效。
9、若常常恶梦、睡觉不安、魂神不宁，佩戴在身睡觉，必定安稳。

家中的作用
1、避一切恶邪鬼怪伤害。家中的一切污秽之物迅速逃离，家中得享清净。
2、若家中有人修赞护法，更容易得多护法护持，并尊行者的要求快速完成嘱托。

Vesak Day 2024 falls on 22 May 2024.

Vesak is one of the most important Buddhist festivals. It is also known as Wesak or Buddha Day.

It is a celebration of Buddha’s birthday and, for some Buddhists, marks his enlightenment (when he discovered life’s meaning). 

It is also a time to reflect on his teachings and what it means to be Buddhist.

For this Vesak Day we will also be open to public for offering to Buddha on 22 May 4pm-7pm.
There will be a prayer at 2pm which all are welcome to come to chant together. Special spiritual items will also be made available for purchase.

During this Vesak Day we will be seeking kind contributors to contribute as we plan to light up 108 candles to brighter up the path for all sentient beings. The energy exchange for the candle will be $60. First come first serve.

Dear All,

On 6-7th April we will be doing an event for participants’ Ancestors(祖先功德法会). For this event we will be doing prayers and offerings for participants Ancestor to give merits to them.

This event will be properly executed in the most appropriate way with the help of my students. Thank you for your kind understanding. Participants will not require to attend this event however if you wish to come over do come on 6th or 7th April 3pm to 7pm.

Merit-making is important to Buddhist practice: merit brings good and agreeable results, determines the quality of the next life and contributes to a person’s growth towards enlightenment. Merit making for a deceased loved one will help the deceased in their new existence.
